Bin Zheng has master degrees in both molecular biology and intellectually property law. He joined Unitalen in 2007 and is now heading the life science team of Unitalen. Bin focuses his practice on patent prosecution, civil & administrative litigation and legal opinion in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food science and cosmetics. Client counseling is another important part of Bin’s work. He works closely with companies as IP counsel, leading the in-house patent team and handling every aspect of patent related matters, including developing and managing patent portfolios globally. He is also an independent director of a public pharmaceutical company. This unique experience gives him thorough understanding of the industry and deep involvement in clients’ business decisions.  

Bin is a board member of the Communication Committee of the Capital Intellectual Property Services Association. He regularly gives lectures and seminars in universities, institutes and industrial conferences.

Bin was elected as Elite Patent Attorney of Beijing in 2018.
